The day begins slow, I get dressed, make my way to the kitchen and boil the kettle. I lift my head up while I wait for it to boil when I peer out the window to find I could barely see 10 meters out the window. I had originally planned to take a slow start to the day, do some reading, listen to a podcast and check my email. This quickly came to a holt and I threw on my shoes, grabbed my camera and ran out the door to immerse myself in these fleeting conditions.

After working closely with Simon Ellis Landscape Architects to capture his stunning project on Turner Street, Abbotsford, my photography went on to accompany Simon’s submission resulting in an Australian institute of Landscape Architects award!
