The day begins slow, I get dressed, make my way to the kitchen and boil the kettle. I lift my head up while I wait for it to boil when I peer out the window to find I could barely see 10 meters out the window. I had originally planned to take a slow start to the day, do some reading, listen to a podcast and check my email. This quickly came to a holt and I threw on my shoes, grabbed my camera and ran out the door to immerse myself in these fleeting conditions.

I received a great email over the weekend from a client. After working closely with Simon Ellis Landscape Architects to capture his stunning project on Turner Street, Abbotsford, my photography went on to accompany Simon’s submission resulting in an Australian institute of Landscape Architects award!

Recently I have been experimenting with new ways of showcasing and publishing my work. Of course, printing photography onto paper and other typical platforms still remains the best and most popular way to view artwork, I wanted to challenge how imagery can be received.

For the next month, my photograph entitled, Melt, will be hanging in Brood van Joop, Deventer, The Netherlands.

This delicious little bakery is stocked fresh all week and has the perfect spot to sit on the terrace. A big thanks to the owners for allowing me to hang my work, it's always great fun working closely with small businesses!

Bluethumb Art Prize 2018 - Finalist

Hey, GREAT NEWS! I am a Finalist in the Bluethumb Art Prize, so awesome!

The exhibition open's on 12th April 2018 - you can find more information on the Bluethumb website. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it, but there are some great artists that will be in attendance. If anyone reading this plans on going to the opening or show, in general, feel free to stand near my work and talk to someone about it.
