For the next month, my photograph entitled, Melt, will be hanging in Brood van Joop, Deventer, The Netherlands.
This delicious little bakery is stocked fresh all week and has the perfect spot to sit on the terrace. A big thanks to the owners for allowing me to hang my work, it's always great fun working closely with small businesses!
I am really proud when I see my work hanging in its final form. It helps me see and think about size and scale within a photo and how you can play with the viewer's eyes.
Most questions I get regarding this photograph is, "what is it?". Is it a painting, was it taken from above? Once you've decided what you think it is, your perspective changes again. All good questions come from curiosity - though for now, I'll leave it to the viewer to interpret what they see.
