I’m very excited to share with you the publication of Groundswell: Overland Judith Wright Poetry Prize for New & Emerging Poets.
It’s an absolute honour to have my work placed alongside such evocative wordsmithery, it has me shaking just typing this out. The photograph used is from the series Terra Firma 5/13 (2013).
Zooming out a bit, having my work published as a cover image has been a career goal ever since I picked up the camera some 15+ years ago.
To have your work interpreted and published through the eyes of other creatives in an alternate medium is one thing, to be able to contribute to another medium is another. One thing is for sure, poetry is not dead.
